Responsibilities

• Work in the acute inpatient medicine setting and serve as the most responsible physician (MRP) for complex medical cases and co-management of surgical patients, including palliative care.
• Collaborate across the hospital with strong support from CMH specialists and family physicians.
• Be part of a hospitalist program that supports complex and diverse medical needs in a collaborative environment with specialists.
• Work 8-hour shifts and see an average of 12–16 inpatients per shift.
• Participation in after-hours call is mandatory.
• Open to new graduates or experienced Hospitalists to join the Williams Lake team.
• Locums are welcome; inquiries are encouraged to learn more.
