About the Position
Under the direction of the Crossing Guard Supervisor, the Crossing Guard is responsible for safely escorting pedestrians across roadways, at designated school crossings by monitoring traffic flow gaps, and adhering to regulations, policies and procedures. This position provides excellent customer service, and ensures safe crossing rules are communicated clearly, followed and reinforced as required.

Salary and Benefit Information
The hourly wage for this this part-time, unionized position is $22.29 (2025 rate). OMERS pension is available.
