Responsibilities
- Support and optimize metrology steps within existing manufacturing processes
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure smooth lot progression
- Contribute to developing and characterizing new processes and technologies
- Perform 2D/3D optical metrology, SEM/EDX analysis, and thin‑film measurements
- Use microscopy tools (optical and electron) to validate product quality
- Apply structured problem‑solving tools (SPC, 6‑Sigma, DOE, PFMEA, 5S, 8D)
- Document procedures, results, and process changes with accuracy
- Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and R&D teams
- Train colleagues on metrology tools and methods
- Recommend improvements to enhance performance, capability, and yield
Qualifications
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to solve technical problems
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly
- Strong organization and priority‑management skills
- Ability to learn quickly and train others
- Bachelor’s degree in physical engineering, chemical engineering, physics, or related field
- Functional bilingualism (French/English)
- Knowledge of metrology methods and structured engineering approaches
- Experience in MEMS or microelectronics fabrication (3+ years)
