Controller

We’re hiring a Controller at All Weather Group’s Edmonton head office. The role is a senior finance leader responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business support across our customer solution centres and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
• Own the annual budgeting and forecasting process using Vena, providing meaningful analysis and insights.
• Support operational and strategic decision‑making through performance analysis, cost management, and margin reporting.
• Partner with manufacturing and inventory teams to analyse overhead, scrap, yield, and production efficiency.
• Manage year‑end close activities and coordinate with external auditors, including preparation of audited financial statements under ASPE.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, controls, systems, and reporting timelines.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team while setting priorities and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Support system enhancements and ERP‑related initiatives from a finance and controls perspective.
