Your New Role :

The Quality Manager is responsible for supporting the Quality department to ensure compliance with current policies, procedures, and processes in alignment with ISO 9001-2015, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.

Through proven continuous improvement methods like Lean and Six Sigma, the Quality Manager will assist in the management of Sullivan’s Quality Program performing audits both internally and externally on various jobsites.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities :

While the Quality Manager is responsible for a multitude of duties, the main duties include :

  • Planning Sullivan’s internal compliance and audit process and monitors compliance with professional standards.
  • Plans, executes, reviews, and reports on the monthly audit cycles.
  • Prepares communication with Executives and / or key internal or external parties (i.e. contractors, sub-trades, customers) to discuss critical issues and develop plans to minimize any issues for successful business operations.
  • Performs regular inspections of business construction sites, to determine its compliance against corporate-wide regulations and relevant policies for compliance.
  • Supports Director, Quality analyzing and reviewing NCR reports and remedial plans.
  • Analyzes multiple datasets to perform root cause and predictive analysis and helps create qualitative and quantitative risk and compliance & KPI reports.
  • Identifies areas of risk exposure and drafts investigation proposals prioritizing critical areas monthly.
  • Conducts simulated impacts to the business on risk areas and shares it with the Director, Quality when required.
  • Supports the design and development, implementation & sustainability of various quality management training and awareness
  • Provides support to the Director, Quality in the effort to minimize any compliance risks (with training, compliance pledge, etc.).

Safety

  • Adheres to all safety procedures and regulatory.
  • Communicates and enforces safety standards in conjunction with the Construction Health & Safety Officer.

Quality

  • Adheres to all Sullivan standard processes and procedures established.
  • Ensures the quality of produced efforts reflects the Sullivan quality standards core values.

What you will need to succeed :

  • Minimum of 5+ years as a quality auditor in the construction or a related industry.
  • Completion of secondary school.
  • Completion of a Certified Quality Lead Auditor course.
  • Has obtained a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) designation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Level II Secret Government Clearance.

  • Able to handle multiple work assignments and maintain awareness of deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Teams, and PowerPoint) Adobe or Bluebeam.
  • Able to adapt to new technology.

Travel requirements

The Quality Manager will be required to travel to the Sullivan satellite offices and work sites as required.

Location

Serving Eastern Ontario and based out of the Arnprior office.
