As a CDW Business Analyst, we’ll look to you to lead business and functional requirements gathering activities, financial and systems analysis, and business solution design / business process optimization efforts across the CDW Canada organization in support of the Business Transformation Team. This key role will see you owning, leading, and managing all aspects of business transformation projects from inception to completion. Leveraging strong relationships with business owners and other members of cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do

Collaborate with business owners to clarify, prioritize and validate project requirements and business objectives.

Analyze business problems quickly and work with the project team to determine the root cause and provide solution alternatives.

Assess existing business processes, people, and technology to identify common patterns across functions.

Derive a detailed understanding of the stated business problem and objectives and work with the Business Owners across the various initiatives toward identifying resolution.

Plan and facilitate requirements gathering utilizing focus sessions, one-on-one interviews, and job shadowing.

Collaborate with other departments, Business Transformation team members, and act as a conduit for all cross-functional collaboration & knowledge management.

Perform quantitative & qualitative analyses to help justify the investment necessary to deliver solutions.

Provide creative thinking and new ideas to resolve existing problems and possess structured thinking to evaluate solution options.

What you need to succeed :

Must-have :

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent work experience

2+ years’ experience in identifying and documenting business needs and specifications utilizing business analysis and financial analysis techniques

Strong working knowledge of requirements gathering, data mining tools, Microsoft Office applications, as well as financial analysis tools

Experience producing and / or maintaining business and / or data requirements

Ability to communicate effectively and in a constructive manner with customers, coworkers, management and executives

Eager to take on new tasks / responsibilities and passion for customer experience, operational excellence and continuous development

Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate information, identify risks and opportunities, while possessing creative problem-solving skills with an understanding of business concepts and models

Proven ability to elicit project and financial requirements

Nice-to-have :

5+ years’ experience operating in a business analyst capacity, identifying and documenting business needs and specifications utilizing business analysis and system design techniques

Master’s degree in Business or Advanced Information Technologies

Familiarity with cost / benefit and ROI data analysis

Industry certifications (CBAP, Six Sigma)

Ability to effectively resolve conflict with appropriate escalation

Canada range with no variable compensation :

Pay range : $ 66, 000- $ 91, 600, depending on experience and skill set
