POSITION : DI1 – Festival Assistant – Digi60 Film Festival
DESIRED CONTRACT TERM : 26 Weeks START DATE : August 19, END DATE : February 14,
WORK SCHEDULE : 4 business days / 32 hours per week WORK LOCATION : Hybrid : Own home and office
REPORTS TO : The Festival Director or Festival Coordinator
SUMMARY : This position is funded through Ontario’s Job Creation Partnerships (see more details below). This position reports to the Festival Director and Festival Coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Respond to emails and inquiries regarding the festival
- Create and maintain a list of volunteers, leading volunteer outreach
- Supporting the Festival coordinator and programmers with on-site event support during live events including event kick-off, media launch and festival screenings
- Create, disseminate and collect the festival feedback survey post festival
- Liaise or outreach to festival partners and sponsors, communicating via email or phone, supporting meetings with VIPs as needed
- Support or work in conjunction with Social Media & Communications Assistant as needed
- Attend team meetings or events in an engaged way.
- Meet regularly with the festival team and festival board to organize priorities and give feedback.

Candidate eligibility for JCP is determined according to the following criteria :
