Nanny Wanted - Seeking Nanny In Campbell River, Bc

Hello there,

My March 2024 baby boy is an active kid that likes nothing more than digging in the dirt, being chased, playing hockey, and wrestling. He thrives, as all children do, when someone gives him their undivided, delighted attention.

He will be starting at a daycare, attending Wed and Thurs. Our current nanny is planning on a career change so we are looking for another part time nanny. The hours would likely be 8am-4pm, Mon, Tues, and Fri, but we can be a bit flexible with that.

He currently likes to be held to fall asleep for his daily nap. We are meeting with a sleep consultant this month to help make naps and bedtimes easier, and depending on the steps required, my husband or I will plan to be home to assist in that part of the day.

For the 1.5-2 hours that our guy is asleep, I prefer a nanny to take a lunch break, then spend time doing light cleaning, snack prep, or setting up an activity.

Details :

Hours : Likely 8am-4pm Mon, Tues, Fri - can be flexible

Location : Our home (either my husband or I will be working from home most days)

Start Date : Anytime January 2026

Pay : $20–23 / hour, depending on experience

Requirements :

First aid certification (or willingness to obtain it).

Previous childcare experience, especially with infants or toddlers.

Must be comfortable around dogs. We have a friendly, large poodle mix, though he can be kept in a separate area if needed.

We’re looking for someone who is warm, grounded, and has an enthusiasm for children.
