Scope of Position :

Salaried, Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Hybrid Work System : 20 Mural Street, Richmond Hill, ON + Work From Home

Requirements :

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Programming / Science
  • 2+ years experience in software testing
  • Mandarin speaking is an asset
  • Experience in software testing methodologies
  • Experience in test automation (PyTest)
  • Experience in object-oriented programming (Python, JavaScript)
  • Experience with bash / shell scripting
  • Experience in Rest API testing, Backend, Frontend
  • Experience in security testing
  • Expertise in bug tracking and reporting tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Knowledge of DB testing
  • Familiarity with testing mobile applications
  • Knowledge of networking (routers, switches, record and read logs)
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members for accurate and efficient testing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think fundamentally
  • Eligibility to work in Canada

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Reporting to the QA / Validation Manager, the AQA Engineer will be responsible for the design of automated tests to check the functionality of web and mobile applications, as well as writing scripts, installing testing protocols, and providing effective test automation solutions.

  • Analyze requirements and design efficient functional, non-functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests;
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using PyTest, Postman, Selenium, or other industry-standard tools;
  • Conduct manual testing, including UI testing, cross-browser testing, and image quality tests;
  • Collaborate with software and hardware developers to resolve bugs and technical issues;
  • Identify and report bugs and issues, and work with developers to resolve them;
  • Track bugs and issues using Jira and Confluence;
  • Work with Jenkins, GitHub, and GitLab for build process and tooling;
  • Test on different operating systems, including iOS, Android, Windows, and Linux.
