Being an International Trade Manager at National Bank means working closely with Commercial Account Managers to identify business opportunities and advise clients on a full range of specialized international risk coverage solutions and services. It also means acting as a reference for all matters related to risk coverage products and international services.
Your job :
Identify and develop business opportunities in your market, grow your client base, and establish business development strategies in line with the Bank's directions.
Design and carry out visibility activities and promote the Bank's international solutions and services.
Develop and maintain a good understanding of risk coverage products and international services and stay abreast of new market trends.
Support account managers in their work by identifying the international needs of existing and potential clients and presenting appropriate services.
Negotiate, in collaboration with account managers, the terms and conditions of client agreements for international solutions.
Work in synergy with several internal teams to support clients for all financial needs.
Identify and propose improvements to optimize process and system efficiency.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you are part of a specialized international trade development team. This team consists of four employees covering Canada. Prerequisites :
Bachelor's degree related to the field and 10 years of relevant experience.
Master's degree related to the field and 7 years of relevant experience.
Significant experience in international trade (Documentary Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Guarantee, Supply Chain Financing, Government Guarantee Programs, etc.).
Knowledge of international regulations and business practices.
Market analysis and international trade development strategy skills.
