Reporting to the Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following :
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety
principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
- Engage and interact with guests to create a legendary customer experience at all touchpoints
- Serve guests, operate the point-of-sale system, dispense propane when required, stock and face shelves and perform
general housekeeping duties
- Ensure safety and asset protection are held to the highest priority
- Complete all necessary daily reconciliations and reports as required
- Be familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies and procedures
- Seasonal duties may be required at Bear Country Fudge
- Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are :
You are looking for a career in Customer Service :
- You have customer service experience; experience in the Co-operative Retailing System is an asset
- Must be 19 years of age and willing to obtain Serve it Right certification
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results orientated, and strive to be the best in the work that you do
- You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
- You’re attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills
- You have Point-of-Sale experience and can work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
- You are able to fulfill physical job requirements standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly
- You must be willing to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing certifications
- You have a flexible work schedule including days, weekends, and evenings
