Part-Time Nanny / Early Childhood Tutor Needed :

We are a family based in Burlington, Ontario, looking for a nanny to join our household and help care for our 4-year-old and 2-year-old (sometimes only one-on-one). This is a live-out, part-time position, ideal for someone perhaps who has recently graduated from Early Childhood Education or Teacher’s College who is passionate about early learning.

This role is 2–3 weekday days per week to start, sometimes maybe 2 days 1 morning. We can see what rhythm works best for both sides. We are expecting a new baby at the end of the Summer, so the role and hours will changes slightly with that adjustment.

Location-wise it will be a mix of in-home and our office / gym.

Depending on location and our work schedules, some days we (the parents), might be onsite (working on other things).

Basic overview of what You'll Be Doing :

• Engaging in play-based learning, crafts, reading, and sensory play (would like to create a learning plan for you or with you focused around themes and specific development stages and learning goals)
• Supporting our child’s creativity, curiosity, and confidence
• Priority on outdoor time - parks, walks, etc.
• Role will include some housekeeping : dishes, tidying play areas, basic meal prep, and laundry support.
• Potential for field trips and independent activities after the trial period
