(INDEPENDENT CONTRACT) Technical Expert – Electrical Engineering

Estimated Duration : 12 to 18 months

Start Date : Early 2026 (to be confirmed)

Type of Collaboration : Independent Contractor

Location : Saint-Laurent, QC

Work Mode : Onsite

Schedule : Full-time, minimal overtime (up to 5 hrs / week, more depending on project phase)

Travel : Occasional between plants

Key Responsibilities

• Design experimental electrical systems for aircraft systems testing.
• Develop engineering work packages and supervise detailed drawings.
• Design data acquisition, power, control / automation, and instrumentation systems.
• Write technical specifications and reports.
• Interpret aerospace technical requirements to develop compliant solutions.
• Perform preliminary load and power analyses.
• Plan short- and medium-term design work packages while meeting deadlines and budgets.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and experimental instrumentation technicians.
• Actively participate in manufacturing, assembly, installation, and validation phases of your designs.
