Dairy Farm Labourer

Job Duties

As a Dairy Farm Labourer, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the farm, ensuring the care and well-being of our dairy cows and contributing to the smooth functioning of farm activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation of the milking parlor.
• Setup preparation, milking cows, and cleaning the work areas.
• Moving cows to and from the milking parlor.
• Cleaning of the cow resting areas and feed bunk feed pushups.
• Must possess a calm demeanor with a desire to work with animals.
• Previous farm work experience is an asset.
• Completion of secondary school is an asset.
• Must be responsible, reliable, honest.
• Basic English is required.
• High standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to do some heavy lifting.
• Willing to train.
• Must be punctual.
