About the role :

This role will be reporting directly into the CFO and will start on a contract in Vaughan before moving locations to Peel region. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following but not limited to.

Lead month-end close and strengthen plant financial controls.

Oversee costing (BOMs, standard costs, COGS) and product profitability.

Manage CapEx, fixed assets, budgeting, forecasting, and expense analysis.

Monitor raw material contracts, pricing strategy, and margin forecasts.

Ensure strong inventory controls and reduce variances.

Support ERP implementation and system integrity.

Contribute to S&OP, labor and overhead modeling, and KPI reporting.

Drive cost-saving initiatives and support audits and strategic projects.

Supervise accounting staff and help scale the finance function.

About you :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA (or near completion).

5+ years within manufacturing.

Experience working with large ERP systems as well as have been through an implementation
