Our client is a well-established interior design studio. Operating for over twenty years, they are well known for their high-quality designs that span a multitude of project types including residential (luxury SFH & condominiums), hospitality andmercial builds.
They are currently looking for an experienced Assistant for their team, working in a hybrid role of both Interior Design & Administrative support.
Your new role As the primary point of contact for both general and project-relatedmunications with the owner, you will handle a range of administrative tasks.
These include scheduling meetings with clients & vendors, assembling color finish selections, and preparing written finishes specification packages.
You will also manage documents related to finishes, plumbing, and appliance specifications in alignment with project requirements, as well as liaising with suppliers, ensuring office materials and samples remain up-to-date.
You will provideprehensive administrative support to the owner and team members, assisting with special projects, and manage office duties such as sourcing supplies and maintaining the filing system.
What you'll need to succeed Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant in an Interior Design / Decorating studio is preferred, or an educational background in Interior Design with a proven background in administrative support.
Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite is important. Previous experience within this sector is preferred, and the ideal candidate will need a high degree of self-motivation, a detail-oriented outlook and excellent time management skills.
This role is based in Vaughan and is based in office & on site, so it is important you are willing tomute to this area daily.
