Job Summary :
The Risk Manager at Hotel Chain will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and
mitigating risks that could impact the organization's ability to achieve its business
objectives. This role involves developing risk management strategies, implementing risk
mitigation plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Risk Manager
will work closely with various departments to promote a risk-aware culture and enhance the
overall resilience of the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Risk Identification and Assessment :
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential risks across various
operations.
Analyse and evaluate risks in terms of impact and likelihood.
Develop and maintain a risk register to document identified risks.
2. Risk Mitigation :
Design and implement risk management strategies and action plans.
Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and make necessary
adjustments.
Collaborate with departmental heads to ensure risk mitigation plans are
integrated into business operations.
3. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs :
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Keep abreast of regulatory changes and assess their impact on the
organization.
Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies as required.
4. Risk Reporting :
Prepare risk reports for senior management and the board of directors.
Communicate risk management policies and strategies to stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on the status of risk management initiatives.
5. Crisis Management :
Develop and maintain crisis management and business continuity plans.
Lead the response to crises and emergencies, ensuring swift and effective
action.
Conduct regular drills and simulations to test and improve crisis management
plans.
6. Training and Awareness :
Conduct risk management training programs for employees at all levels.
Promote a risk-aware culture within the organization.
Provide guidance and support to departments on risk-related issues.
7. Continuous Improvement :
Review and improve risk management policies and procedures regularly.
Stay updated on best practices in risk management and implement them as
appropriate.
Use data analytics and other tools to enhance risk management processes.
Requirements
Qualifications :

Management Professional (CRMP), or similar is preferred.
