The Opportunity :
As a Senior Project Manager within the Project Management Office, you will lead end-to-end delivery of complex, enterprise-wide technology initiatives that enable Maple Leaf Foods’ strategic goals. You bring extensive experience guiding large-scale implementations—such as major Cloud platforms (S / 4HANA, TPM), enterprise applications, and digital transformation programs—across the full project lifecycle.
You excel at building high-performing teams, managing stakeholder expectations, navigating ambiguity, and driving successful outcomes in dynamic, evolving environments.
You will be accountable for overall project success, including technical strategy, disciplined execution, cross-functional coordination, risk management, and the organizational change required to embed new capabilities.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will :
- Build and lead effective project teams, fostering trust, open dialogue, and shared ownership of results.
- Define project scope, goals, and measurable outcomes in collaboration with business partners and technology stakeholders.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, resource plans, and integrated workstream activities.
- Identify, assess, and communicate project risks with thoughtful mitigation strategies.
- Ensure quality and control across scope, budget, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and recruit additional expertise as needed.
- Provide clear project updates to sponsors, leadership, and stakeholders, including status, risks, and recommendations.
- Lead project budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking.
- Oversee change management activities—including impact assessments, readiness planning, communications, and training support.
- Deliver projects to approved timelines, budget, scope, and quality standards.
- Lead large, complex teams composed of internal contributors, external partners, and multi-disciplinary subject matter experts.
- Partner with IT leadership to secure resources and resolve resourcing priorities.
- Prepare high-quality project documentation and governance materials, aligned with MLF standards.
- Track project deliverables using tools such as Teams, SharePoint, MS Project.
- Plan and execute cutover, go-live readiness, and transition-to-operations activities.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement within the PMO.
What You’ll Bring :
8+ years of leading complex, enterprise-wide projects—Cloud / SaaS, ERP (SAP or S / 4HANA), or digital transformation.Experience with SAP, Cloud ecosystems, or large platform implementations.University degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).PMP and Agile certifications preferred.Experience driving organizational change and enabling adoption in complex environments.Demonstrated leadership of large teams (20+ members) across multiple disciplines.Exceptional stakeholder and relationship management skills.Ability to collaborate closely with business and technical leaders, communicate vision, and build alignment.Strong understanding of business processes within CPG or similar industries.Knowledge of Cloud solution architectures, digital platforms, and modern implementation methodologies.Skilled influencer with the ability to guide teams through uncertainty and transformation.Adaptive leadership style suited to diverse situations and audiences.Excellent prioritization, communication, execution, and critical-thinking skills.Strong business acumen, curiosity, and understanding of cross-functional operations.Self-starter with a strong bias for action and delivery.What We Offer at Maple Leaf Foods :
