System Administrator Sr – Cloud

Position Description

Position summary

The System Administrator-Cloud is responsible for provisioning, installing, configuring, and providing maintenance of systems hardware, software and related backend infrastructure for servers and storage including Amazon AWS,Microsoft Azure cloud base solutions and Google workspace.

8-15 years

responsibilities

Evaluate Azure projects cost estimation as needed

Gather requirements and deliver solutions to the organization based on understanding of Microsoft Azure environment

Contribute to system continuous improvement, operations, maintenance, and monitoring (infrastructure)

Conceptualize, design & architect the Microsoft Azure Platform

Act as primary administrator for company Azure, Azure Active Directory

Support any company Azure cloud project initiatives by providing guidelines and governance.

Maintain secure environments running in Azure using industry-accepted standards (MFA, encrypted data transfer, etc.)

Contribute and interact with Azure DevOps ecosystem

Maintain cloud systems support and architecture documentation

Build and maintain tools and frameworks that support deployment automation, health-check of applications, and patching / update activities

Participates in technical research and development to promote innovation within the backend infrastructure cloud environment

Provides support and technical assistance to operational support staff, development teams, as well as all system users if needed.

Participate in the implementation and support of cloud hosting initiatives based Microsoft Azure.

Manage Windows and Linux Servers, Active Directory Domain Services and high availability systems.

Demonstrates ability to provide required maintenance and maintain system documentation.

Configure, monitor and manage Servers, Backend Software, Backup Software, Patch Management, Anti-Virus, etc.

Provide level 3 support for service desk

Participate incident resolution and documentation

Provide off-hours on call support for critical production systems

Technologies or skills required :

Senior Cloud Sys Admin

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interactions with domestic and global clients.
