Senior Test Analyst (IT division)

Overview

Agricorp is looking for a full-time permanent Senior Test Analyst to join the Enabling Services team within the Information Technology division. The Senior Test Analyst will be responsible for end-to-end system testing of recurring Annual Business Cycle activities as well as testing new system enhancements to support Agricorp delivered programs. Systems include our in-house Data Management System (.Net web application), Customer Document Management system (SharePoint), and Agricorp Customer Online Services (.Net Web application) for digital services.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on all phases of automated and / or manual system testing of changes, from system integration testing through to production deployment.
• Perform positive testing, regression testing, non-functional testing, reliability testing, usability testing, and ensure efficient maintenance and portability of requirements.
• Review and understand system-related expectations in detail.
• Create detailed test plans using analysis of requirements, user stories, system requirements, and functional specifications to ensure alignment of functionality with expectations.
• Determine scope of testing across project phases and collaborate with team members to test methodically and efficiently.
• Conduct end-to-end testing within and across integrated applications and technical platforms.
• Ensure appropriate test coverage and continuously look for ways to improve test methods to reduce manual effort and timelines.
• Recommend industry best practices, testing tools, and technologies to improve processes and procedures.
• Identify and communicate risks early and prioritize testing accordingly; raise variance reports as required.
• Assist and provide senior technical support to test analysts; coach and share knowledge with team members.
• Collaborate across the division to ensure high-quality testing outcomes.
