The Power Line Technician is responsible for preventative & corrective maintenance on overhead catenary power systems and will assist in other electrical duties ie : TPSS, TVS, batteries, Lighting, general power equipment, switches, switch heaters etc.

Responsibilities  :

To carry out the power isolation processes / tag out / lock out operation (TPSS, OCS) for the rail system

team and any designated third parties.

• To be a TPIP (Track power isolation permit) holder
• To carry out such work in accordance with strict Health & Safety procedures as defined by legislation and

the Company Health & Safety policies.

Technical Skills, Knowledge & Abilities :

Educational Requirements

Mandatory : Journey Man Electrician or Electrical Eng Degree or

Electrical Engineering Technologist

Desirable : - Master Electrician or Equivalent experience

Pay rate : - CAD
