Job description

A typical day :

  • End-to-end payroll process (Canada and US), calculation and distribution of wages, bonuses and benefits
  • Manage data entry of new hires, employee updates and terminations
  • Maintain banking information, recurring payments, and payroll deductions
  • Process and verify benefits coverage
  • Oversee RRSP and other employee benefit plans
  • Support with month-end and year-end reconciliations and prepare necessary reports including US W-2s and Canadian T-4s
  • Review monthly billing invoices for benefits
  • Process payroll taxation

Successful candidates will have :

  • Current certification as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner
  • Minimum of two years related experience and at minimum, one year of US payroll experience
  • Solid understanding of US and Canadian payroll processes and regulations
  • Ability to handle payroll for more than 150 employees
  • Experience with multi-state taxes and provincial taxes
  • Total rewards :
