Job description
A typical day :
End-to-end payroll process (Canada and US), calculation and distribution of wages, bonuses and benefits
Manage data entry of new hires, employee updates and terminations
Maintain banking information, recurring payments, and payroll deductions
Process and verify benefits coverage
Oversee RRSP and other employee benefit plans
Support with month-end and year-end reconciliations and prepare necessary reports including US W-2s and Canadian T-4s
Review monthly billing invoices for benefits
Process payroll taxation
Successful candidates will have :
Current certification as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner
Minimum of two years related experience and at minimum, one year of US payroll experience
Solid understanding of US and Canadian payroll processes and regulations
Ability to handle payroll for more than 150 employees
Experience with multi-state taxes and provincial taxes
Total rewards :
60000.00 - $75000.00 annually
