Job Title : Chemist

Location : Mont-Royal, Quebec

Timings : AM - PM or AM - PM

Duration : Months (Looking to Convert to FTE)

Travel : Up to % (Montreal region to Chicago). Role Overview :

• Primary Focus : Equipment implementation (not method development or training).
• Current Technologies : Mojani Fat, Mojani Moisture, Vacuum Oven.
• New Technology : Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR) to replace current methods.
• Troubleshooting : Intermediate to strong level required; will involve collaboration with IT and analytical chemists.
• Work Style : Collaborative (not independent project leadership).
• Team Structure : Approx. people (lab crew, supervisor, quality team, operations leads, technicians).
• Languages : Must be proficient in French and English (verbal and written).
• Work Environment : On-site at Mount Royal facility (no remote work).
• Working Hours : Monday–Friday, flexible ( AM– PM or AM– PM); occasional weekend work possible on-site.
• Travel : Up to % (Montreal region to Chicago).
