Business Unit

The Automation Division is responsible for providing engineered solutions, integrated systems, automation programming and technical support to Lincoln Electric’s ongoing sales efforts specifically focused upon fume extraction, flexible and hard automation products and services.

Automation is further responsible for the provision of technical support to direct end-user customers for service / maintenance contracts and warrantee related solutions, as well as, troubleshooting and problem solving with respect to customer issues.

The Automation Team is expected to deliver results while contributing to Lincoln Electric’s ongoing business activities and priorities, as well as, meeting internal and external customer requirements in a timely, discreet and ethical manner.

Position Summary

The role of the HMI / PLC Programmer will include automation and controls systems design, PLC / HMI / SCADA programming, simulation and testing, and start-up commissioning. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in developing advanced PLC and HMI logic and programming with the following software vendors :

• Allen Bradley - Most Preferred
• Siemens
• Rockwell FactoryTalk View ME
• Rockwell FactoryTalk View SE
• Siemens WinCC flexible
• Siemens WinCC
