ROLE : JAVA DEVELOPER
LOCATION : VANCOUVER (HYBRID)
- Work with a team of talented engineers to develop high performance, high volume Java applications.
- Deliver solutions by providing direct development and maintenance of software solutions.
- Work closely with technical leads, business & system analysts to define features and user stories.
- Provide implementation steps and coordinate release implementation in higher environments by acting as point-of-contact with operations team
- Collaborate with the (BA-SA) Business Analyst / System Analyst providing technical details in order to elaborate further the stories.
- Join discussions with Project Managers and Business Analysts to design action plans and enhance client delivery based on metric analysis;
Requirements
Proficiency with Java SDK or greaterDeep knowledge of software development processes, including SAFe / Agile processesExperience with JBoss, Tomcat, shell scripting, JSON, multi-threading, Maven, Linux, SQL, Pivotal, Kafka and Spring framework tech stackExperience with Eclipse or IntelliJ to compile, deploy and execute code artifactsExperience with secure coding best practicesExperience integrating vendor and open source products into an overall systemExperience with cloud software development (PCF, Azure)Experience mentoring a team.Strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong time management skillStrong organizational skillsStrong multi-task management skill : be able to within the constraints and timelines determined by business needs.Disclaimer :
