We have an opportunity with our client, in the packaging industry, who is looking for a Production Supervisor for their Brampton, ON location!

They are a globally recognized company, pioneering packaging solutions in the Chemicals, Plastics, and Pharmaceuticals industries.

Salary : $65K-$75K

Shift : Afternoon Shift 3 : 30pm-11 : 30pm

Responsibilities

  • Supervising and leading a team of 13 employees
  • Overseeing the production lines, ensuring all Shipments comply with company policies & standards, etc
  • Train new employees on production processes & enhance existing staff to promote continuous improvement
  • Inventory Management
  • Collaboration with other departments
  • Health & Safety compliance, training & involvement

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience with production / shipping leadership
  • Forklift license is an asset, or recent 3 years experience in operation of a Forklift
  • Knowledge of safety & compliance regulations (WHMIS is an asset)
  • Experience with production operations & scheduling
