Job description

Job Summary :

The Senior Web Analyst is responsible for ensuring that guest-facing digital platforms, including websites and mobile apps, meet high standards for performance, accessibility, privacy, and compliance. This role is critical in maintaining alignment with global regulations and internal policies. The ideal candidate is adept at managing operational tasks to support evolving business needs and will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Digital Product Owners, IT, Security, Legal, Hotel Operations, and third-party vendors. The Senior Web Analyst will also serve as a key point of contact for business teams, providing operational support from project initiation through the sustaining phase.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategy & Planning :

  • Develop and implement a robust compliance strategy ensuring adherence to AODA, WCAG, CCPA, GDPR, and other relevant standards.
  • Plan and execute initiatives to enhance platform performance, aligning with business goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to integrate compliance and SEO strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Promote continuous improvement in accessibility, privacy, and performance processes.
  • Establish measurable service level objectives for policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular reviews of internal processes to identify efficiencies and enhancements.
  • Stay ahead of emerging regulations, updating policies and tools as needed.

Acquisition & Deployment :

  • Ensure accessibility, privacy, and performance considerations are embedded in Agile / CI / CD workflows and product lifecycles.
  • Implement scalable solutions that evolve with business growth and compliance needs.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to align strategies and priorities.
  • Present operational recommendations to key stakeholders and drive necessary modifications.
  • Ensure external partners and vendors comply with accessibility and regulatory standards.
  • Identify performance risks for new projects and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Compliance & Risk Management :

  • Work with Legal teams to develop policies supporting compliance and performance standards.
  • Identify and mitigate compliance risks related to platform performance.
  • Measure adherence to policies through relevant service level objectives (SLOs) and agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain escalation processes for compliance-related incidents and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide training and support on compliance standards and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, performance metrics, and operational procedures.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure adherence to contract terms and service levels.
  • Act as a team representative, collaborating with other departments to support operational excellence.
  • Required Qualifications & Skills :

  • Extensive experience in operational support, with a focus on DevOps (CI / CD) and web / mobile performance monitoring technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of global privacy laws, compliance standards, and performance management in technology platforms.
  • Expertise with compliance tools such as OneTrust, TrustArc, ObservePoint, etc.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and application performance monitoring tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Preferred Experience :

  • Experience with accessibility auditing tools like SiteImprove.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, audit, and risk management tools.
  • Familiarity with Dynatrace, security tools (Veracode, Trustwave), and best practices.
  • Understanding of web development technologies (React, Node.js).
  • Experience with platforms such as Monday.com, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Background in mobile apps, Salesforce, microservices, and service bus solutions.
  • Education & Experience :

  • 5-7 years of experience in IT Support & Operations, IT Management, or related fields, with a focus on compliance and eCommerce environments.
  • 2-5 years of experience in business and technology process optimization, emphasizing accessibility, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage conflicts, competing priorities, and compliance-focused projects.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Work Model :

  • Hybrid role requiring three days per week in the corporate office located in Toronto, Ontario.
