The Catholic Independent Schools of the Nelson Diocese (CISND), hosts six elementary schools, and one high school. Duties specific this this posting :

Inclusive Education Coordinator (0.6FTE) / Elementary Teacher (0.4FTE)

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following Inclusive Education Coordinator duties :

  • Lead a team of EAs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and school administration to support students
  • Organize school based team meetings as required
  • Writing and maintaining IEPs and accommodation checklists for IE students
  • Coordinate outside services (SLP, BIT, diagnostic testing)
  • Coordinate parent meetings as required and / or requested
  • Other duties as assignment by the school's administration

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for teh following teaching duties :

  • Teach grade 5 students 0.4FTE
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and school administration to support students
  • Plan for lessons, teach, and assess students
  • Other duties as assigned by the school's administration
