Position Information

Location : New Westminster Campus

Salary Range : $60,006 to $65,588 annually. Salary scale and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement

Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Procurement, the Procurement Officer is responsible for overseeing and administering the competitive bid processes for the procurement of complex acquisitions of a high dollar value, ensuring best practices and cost savings for the College. This position is responsible for conducting market / product research, cost analysis, specification review, and the development of contracts. The Procurement Officer assists the Manager, Procurement in developing policies and updating processes to ensure the effective operation of the Procurement Department. This position is responsible for the supervision of all support staff as related to Procurement activities. Provides exceptional client‑centred service on a consistent basis to all stakeholder groups.
