As a Corporate Asset Researcher, you will provide a wide range of research and asset data collection support to the Facility Asset Management team within Facilities Investment Management Division. Primary duties include :

  • Conducting site visits to collect basic asset information including equipment data, accommodation status, or building measurements.
  • Performing data analysis and synthesis on collected data.
  • Updating or extracting information from internal systems (such as Computer-aided Design (CAD) Drawing Inventory, inforEAM, and PowerPlan).
  • Liaising with other departments, business units, operations staff and consultants.
  • Conduct and compile journal and website research on best practices and trends.

Qualifications

  • A completed 2 year diploma in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering with at least 1 year of experience in asset management; OR
  • A degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with research, analysis, and the ability to synthesize large volumes of information from a variety of sources is required.
  • Experience using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is required.
  • A valid Class 5 Licence or Graduate Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalency) and the use of a personal vehicle is required.
  • Knowledge and / or experience working in facility management, asset management, and / or architecture will be considered an asset.
  • You have strong communication skills and interpersonal skills with demonstrated customer focus.
  • You have the ability to work independently as well as the ability to be an effective team member.
