As a Corporate Asset Researcher, you will provide a wide range of research and asset data collection support to the Facility Asset Management team within Facilities Investment Management Division. Primary duties include :
- Conducting site visits to collect basic asset information including equipment data, accommodation status, or building measurements.
- Performing data analysis and synthesis on collected data.
- Updating or extracting information from internal systems (such as Computer-aided Design (CAD) Drawing Inventory, inforEAM, and PowerPlan).
- Liaising with other departments, business units, operations staff and consultants.
- Conduct and compile journal and website research on best practices and trends.
Qualifications
A completed 2 year diploma in Architecture, Interior Design or Engineering with at least 1 year of experience in asset management; ORA degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related field.Experience with research, analysis, and the ability to synthesize large volumes of information from a variety of sources is required.Experience using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is required.A valid Class 5 Licence or Graduate Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalency) and the use of a personal vehicle is required.Knowledge and / or experience working in facility management, asset management, and / or architecture will be considered an asset.You have strong communication skills and interpersonal skills with demonstrated customer focus.You have the ability to work independently as well as the ability to be an effective team member.
