Bookkeeper

Adecco is actively seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Gold River, BC. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and assisting with budgeting and financial planning. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage and the benefit of accommodations for the first 90 days. You will be part of a dynamic team working in a remote community, requiring a vehicle to access the location.

Pay Rate : $28-$32 / hour.

Location : Gold River, BC

Shift : 31.5 hours weekly (every Friday afternoon off)

Responsibilities :

Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records (general ledgers, financial statements, etc.).

Record purchases, sales revenue, invoices, and payments.

Reconcile bank statements and other accounts.

Prepare trial balances and other financial reports.

Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets under the guidance of the Finance Manager.

Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and procedures.

Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends or issues.

Prepare invoices, process payments, and assist with audits or other assignments as needed

Requirements :

Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

Diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting (or other recognized accounting / designation).

Certified full-cycle accounting credentials are an asset.

A minimum of 3 years in bookkeeping or accounting roles.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Experience with accounting software (Xyntax & Payworks preferred).

A vehicle is required due to the remote community location.
