Position Summary
Under the general direction of the Manager, Surveillance, this position is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of Surveillance Officers at the site level as well as monitoring interior and exterior areas of a property by closed circuit television cameras. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitors Surveillance Operators; verifies timesheets; provides input for performance evaluations
- Monitors, documents and reports violations, large cash / cash equivalent transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access
- Maintains logs; prepares daily reports; stores records securely for evidence purposes
- Monitors, documents and reports on the condition of surveillance facilities and equipment; performs preventative maintenance on equipment as required
- Trains new team members
- Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Builds strong working relation ships with guests and team members
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Manages other initiatives as required
Education and Qualifications
Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidaysPost secondary education in criminology an assetMinimum 2 years of surveillance experience in a gaming environmentServing it Right CertificationAbility to successfully obtain a Gaming LicenseWork Environment Considerations
