Industrial Electrician - Night Shift

Role

Under limited supervision, assembles, troubleshoots and maintains all mechanical / electrical equipment and systems. Performs general maintenance, renovations and repairs of machines, equipment and other company’s property. Works closely with production team and contractors on maintenance matters.

Schedule : Sunday to Wednesday 8 : 30pm - 7am

Duties and Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains and repairs all mechanical and electrical systems and all machineries at the plant.
• Provide support to production in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Complies with all necessary manufacturing codes, regulations and standards i.e. GMP, HACCP, WHIMIS, MSDS etc.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration activities. Maintain an updated record of PM.
• Identify opportunities to continuously improve maintenance operations.
• Actively promote health and safety in the workplace.
• Completes Maintenance reports and logs as required.
• Performs all tasks as per recommended job methods, procedures etc. as well as the preventive maintenance of plant production machines / equipment.
• Oversees installation, operation, maintenance and repairs of machines and equipment to ensure that they function according to specifications.
• Investigates equipment / machine failures and faulty operation and perform required repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance to production and common areas.
• Performs and assists on other maintenance duties as required.
• Use power and hand tools and equipment in an efficient manner and maintain them in a clean operating condition.
• Complete work orders as assigned by Maintenance Manager and / or Senior Management / Chief Engineer.

$50 – $50 an hour
