- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Install floor beams, lay sub flooring and erect walls and roof systems
- Install exterior grade doors and windows
- Minimum of 6 years of timber framing experience
- Must know how to work at heights and have fall protection experience
- Supervise apprentices and other construction workers
If you're a skilled Carpenter with at least 6 years of timber framing experience, the ability to work at heights safely, and proficiency in English, we want you on our team.
We value teamwork, organization, and precision, and if you're a team player who can handle lifting 50 pounds, you're the right fit for us.

- Provenexperience ascarpenter
- Hands-onexperience in working with carpentrymaterials
- Excellentunderstanding of carpentry techniques and methods ofinstallation and construction
- Proficient inusing electrical and manual equipment andmeasurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulersetc.)
- Ability to readtechnical documents and drawings
- Willingness tofollow safety guidelines at all times
- Good knowledge ofEnglish
- Goodunderstanding of basic math
- Good physicalcondition and endurance
- High schooldiploma; Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeshipprogram is required
