Job descriptionOutdoors In / on water Swimming pool / centre Camp Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques Supervise staff Train staff Instruct groups and individuals in arts and crafts Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities Leading / instructing groups Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required 11-15 people 16-20 people More than 20 people CPR Certificate First Aid Certificate Area of specialization : Teacher training or certification Security and safety : Criminal record check Own transportation Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Flexibility Initiative Interpersonal awareness Judgement Organized Reliability Team player
