Position Overview :
We are looking for a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead our Budget Blinds location. The ideal candidate will have expertise in retail operations, a strong focus on customer satisfaction, As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing both our sales and operations teams. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving sales targets, and the ability to drive sales and profitability. You will spearhead business operations, streamline operational processes, and foster a culture of excellence. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on management to ensure our business continues to thrive.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Leadership :
- Drive sales growth through coaching, mentoring, and motivating the sales team.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Forecast, monitor, and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement and manage Marketing and Advertising initiatives and work with head office Marketing directives.
Operations Management :
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.Streamline processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.Monitor financial performance, managing budgets, and implementing cost-control measures.Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to maintain and update team product knowledge.Team Development :
Recruit, train, and develop top talent for both sales and operations teams.Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.Customer Focus :
Ensure outstanding customer service is delivered consistently.Address and resolve any customer concerns or issues promptly.Uphold the franchise’s reputation for quality and reliability.Qualifications
Proven experience as a General Manager, Sales Manager, or similar leadership role, preferably in retail or franchising.Strong understanding of sales processes and operational management.Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze data, develop strategies, and implement solutions.Experience in the window coverings industry or an interior design designation is a plus.What We Offer :
