Ecryate is a social innovation startup based in Montreal, incubated at District 3. We create eco-friendly art materials and facilitate educational workshops to raise awareness about environmental impact in creative practice. Ecryate est une startup en innovation sociale, incubée à District 3 à Montréal. Nous développons des matériaux artistiques écologiques et organisons des ateliers pour sensibiliser à l’impact environnemental des pratiques créatives. Tu maîtrises Canva, Photoshop ou Illustrator? Tu veux faire une différence par la création de contenu?

Tasks

As a volunteer, you’ll:
✔️ Design content for Instagram, LinkedIn & newsletters
✔️ Create reels, visuals, and infographics
✔️ Help build a consistent social media presence

Requirements

Design Skills

• Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop), or similar tools
• Strong eye for visual design, layout, and color theory

Social Media Knowledge

• Understanding of best practices for Instagram and LinkedIn
• Familiarity with content trends (e.g., Reels, carousel posts, stories)

Content Creation

• Experience or interest in creating reels, infographics, and branded visuals
• Ability to write engaging captions and tailor content for different platforms

Brand Consistency

• Ability to follow and contribute to brand guidelines (tone, voice, visuals)
• Interest in growing and maintaining a cohesive visual identity

Team Collaboration

• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable collaborating remotely or in person
• Receptive to feedback and open to brainstorming

Purpose-Driven Mindset

• Passion for social impact, creativity, or community building
• Willingness to contribute ideas and energy to a mission-focused team

Time Commitment

• Availability to contribute minimum 5 hours per week (to be defined by the organization)

• Able to meet project deadlines and attend occasional team meetings

• Language Requirement: Fluent in English; French is an asset.

Compétences en design

• Maîtrise de Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) ou d’outils similaires
• Bon œil pour le design visuel, la mise en page et la théorie des couleurs

1. Connaissance des réseaux sociaux

• Bonne compréhension des bonnes pratiques sur Instagram et LinkedIn
• Intérêt pour les tendances de contenu (Reels, carrousels, stories, etc.)

1. Création de contenu

• Expérience ou intérêt pour la création de reels, infographies et visuels engageants
• Capacité à rédiger des légendes percutantes adaptées à chaque plateforme

1. Cohérence de la marque

• Capacité à suivre et à contribuer aux lignes directrices de la marque (ton, voix, visuels)
• Intérêt pour le développement d’une identité visuelle cohérente

1. Travail d’équipe

• Excellentes compétences en communication
• À l’aise pour collaborer à distance ou en présentiel
• Réceptif·ve aux retours et ouvert·e au travail créatif en groupe

1. Esprit engagé

• Intérêt pour les projets à impact social, la créativité ou l’engagement communautaire
• Envie de contribuer à une équipe dynamique, bienveillante et tournée vers une mission

1. Engagement en temps

• Disponibilité de 5 heures au minimum par semaine (à définir avec l’organisation)

• Capacité à respecter les échéances et à participer à des réunions d’équipe occasionnelles

• Exigence linguistique : Maîtrise de l’anglais; le français est un atout.

Please note that ths is an unpaid volunteer position, as we are an early-stage startup. However, we are actively working on securing funding and generating revenue through various channels.

Veuillez noter qu’il s’agit d’un poste bénévole non rémunéré, car nous sommes une startup en phase de démarrage. Toutefois, nous travaillons activement à obtenir du financement et à générer des revenus par différents moyens.
