Job description

Be Passionate

and Take Initiative with these Responsibilities :

  • Develop lecture materials, class activities and some assessments aligned with course outlines
  • Instruct students in a classroom and provide academic assistance
  • Develop teaching materials, class activities and some assessments to international adult learners following guidelines for the requisite course
  • Ensure students meet the learning outcomes as designated in the course outlines
  • Prepare and maintain all course-related records including evaluation, attendance records, and submit information as required
  • Facilitate and maintain a creative and positive learning environment which provides the opportunity for meaningful learning for international students

Deliver results with the following knowledge, skills & abilities :

  • Previous English as a Second Language instructional experience and TESL certification are considered an asset in these roles
  • Demonstrated technical, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated intercultural awareness and cultural empathy
  • This position is dependent upon student enrollment and funding, an eligibility list will also be created from this competition.
