Position : Customer Service Agent Location : Ottawa, ON (Hybrid)

Position Overview

We a looking for a Customer Service Agent for our client (English). Our client is an international consulting company that focuses on industries like environment and energy. You will be crucial in providing exceptional customer service to clients. The successful hires must ensure prompt, efficient, and accurate resolution of support issues while maintaining detailed records in the client-case tracking system.

Responsibilities

Inbound Calls and Email Support :

Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally, addressing inquiries on programmatic policies, online application troubleshooting, and application status.

Respond to email inquiries with clear and accurate information about programmatic policies, online application troubleshooting, and application status.

Issue Resolution :

Resolve customer support issues in a prompt and efficient manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Documentation and Reporting :

Maintain clear, efficient, and accurate records of all calls, emails, and interactions with clients and applicants.

Enter detailed information into the client-case tracking system to manage requests and issues effectively.

Language Skills :

Utilize proficiency in English to effectively communicate with clients and applicants, ensuring language barriers are overcome.

Collaboration :

Collaborate with internal teams to stay updated on programmatic policies, application processes, and troubleshooting techniques.

Provide feedback to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Must be fluent in English
  • At least 1-2 years previous call centre / customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging customer situations with patience and empathy
  • Proficiency in using customer service software, email, and other communication tools
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize workload effectively

Job Types : Temporary, Contract

Pay : $17.00-$18.00 per hour
