Scope

Park Facility Operations is seeking temporary full-time team members to support our active, energetic, and fast-paced work environment within the Parks Facility Operations team. These temporary positions will run approximately from Spring 2026 to Fall 2026 and will require a 40-hour work week, which includes weekends and statutory holidays.

Responsibilities

Among other general labourer duties, perform manual and semi-skilled cleaning tasks within City parks washrooms including :

• Cleaning and mopping floors.
• Cleaning wall surfaces.
• Cleaning toilets and sinks.
• Applying various cleaning solutions as directed.
• Litter pickup.
• Refuse removal.
• Demonstrate safe work practices.
• Able to work alone for extended periods.
• Demonstrates strong teamwork skills and communicates effectively, especially when interacting with the public.
• Able to complete required duties in varying facility conditions, demonstrating sufficient physical strength, stamina, and coordination.
• Perform other duties as required.

Conditions of Employment

This position requires completion of a Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
