Job Description

As a French Translator , you’ll play a key role in translating and localizing content for our French-speaking audience. From marketing materials to technical documents, your expertise will ensure our messaging resonates across cultures while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate written content from English to French and French to English with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Localize content to suit cultural and linguistic preferences.
  • Proofread and edit translations to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to understand project requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure adherence to industry-specific terminology and style guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in French and English (written and verbal).
  • Proven experience as a translator or in a related field (minimum 2 years).
  • Strong understanding of cultural differences and linguistic nuances.
  • Proficiency in translation tools such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, or similar.
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience translating marketing or technical content is a plus.
