Skills & Responsibilities

• Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling and turning.
• Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts into the machines.
• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities :

This is a full-time day / evening rotating shift position in our Sarnia facility where the individual may be required to work weekends and overtime from time to time. Remuneration : $21-$27 per hour
