We're looking for a community driven leader to give direction, guidance and coaching to the Branch employees to continue providing and enhancing execeptional service for our members.

As Branch Manager, you'll use your many skills to lead the Branch and provide Coast Capital's style of simple financial help to our members and improve our local communities.

What you will do every day :

  • Like a super hero you will exceed your member's expectations with their banking needs.
  • Shake hands and build relationships with your members and the local community. Basically, establishing the Coast Capital name in the local market.
  • Use your best hockey analogies to coach your team in developing their sales skills, building effective relationships and embracing our purpose, mission, values, brand and business practices.
  • Get a natural high from your team's successes; whether it be achieving a sales target or helping a team member grow their career within Coast Capital.
  • Exemplify our "How can we help you?" brand while achieving sales, growth and profitability across each area of our business.
  • Rub elbows with the General Insurance, Investments and Commercial departments to achieve our business and member experience strategies.
  • Create a high-performing team by selecting, engaging, developing and retaining star performers.
  • And let's not forget that you'll have to opportunity to oversee core branch operations to ensure consistency, accuracy, safety and adherence to policy, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Who are we looking for?

  • While we don't need mathematical geniuses, we do need leadership super stars. We need leaders who understand the importance of "leading from the front" where you bring business strategy to life, shifting the words on a page to an engaging call to action.
  • You take pride that you survived and thrived in completing your diploma or degree in Business Administration, Economics or in a related area.
  • You've lived and breathed a similar position for a minimum of 7 years with proven success in achieving business strategies in a financial institution, such as a bank or credit union
  • Plus you have a minimum of 3 year's leadership experience.
  • You are a Zen master of risk management and security compliance, deposit and lending processes.
  • Your leadership skills are so honed that teams have willingly walked over hot coals to follow you; you believe in coaching employees to success, growing and training individuals and rewarding and recognizing employees.
  • You are the master of helpfulness.
  • You are a multi-tasking prodigy, able to efficiently and effectively prioritize and organize what needs to get done coupled with a high attention to detail.
  • The ability to hang your Mutual Funds license on your office wall.
  • Your knowledge of the local market will be key for business development.
  • Your presentation skills will wow anyone that is attending.
