About the Opportunity
As a subject matter expert, you'll take a systematic approach to evaluate and enhance ESG risk management, control, and governance frameworks.
You’ll lead the transformation of our ESG control program, designing policies and processes to ensure the completeness, accuracy, reliability and verifiability of ESG data.
You’ll participate in establishing lines of defense, collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Risk, Audit, Health & Safety, Environment, and Communities, and work closely with external auditors.
Your efforts will help us comply with global ESG standards, directly shaping how we communicate our sustainability performance.
Key responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of the ESG control program, drawing upon the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control framework.
You will support the company’s readiness for mandatory ESG disclosures, coordinate verification of key ESG indicators, and collaborate with Corporate and Site teams to ensure consistency in public reporting.
Additionally, you’ll play a key role in identifying and addressing emerging risks and opportunities, keeping up to date with evolving ESG standards, and elevating ESG risk and control knowledge across stakeholders through training and communication. About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and relevant experience
You should have a strong background in audit, ideally with experience in sustainability
Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Bilingual (English / French) required.
Salary Range
110,000 - $125,000 / year
