Job description

Position Description :

  • Collaborate with requirements Engineers in development of technical requirements, verification approaches and verification methods
  • Support the Vehicle Architect (VA) in developing system and sub-system architectures, ensuring consistency with developed requirements
  • Monitor and maintain the integrity of : product structure, system architecture, requirements and compliance through the product development cycle
  • Ensure Engineering design activities align with internal Systems Engineering (SE) principles and best practices
  • Support definition and control of sub-system interfaces
  • Conduct technical meetings
  • Manage Engineering workbooks, which include design information & progress reporting
  • Record and track project risks, and risk mitigation actions, as identified by Design Engineering, SE, VA and Project Engineering
  • Facilitate the development, preparation, review and approval of project documentation such as checkpoint reviews. Support the assessment for checkpoint review quality at sub-system level.
  • Support Engineering Project Management with development and technical execution of Integrated Master Schedule for SE scope

Responsibilities

  • Qualifications

    Position Requirements :

  • University Degree or College Diploma in Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Software
  • Strong technical and analytical ability
  • Basic knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to give presentations to internal and external customers
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to be agile, set priorities and multi-task under pressure
  • Summary

    Preferred Requirements :

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets and schedules
  • Product knowledge of Military / LAV family of vehicles
  • Strong knowledge of cross-departmental procedures / practices
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle design practices
  • Exposure to Software Development or Software Requirements
  • Basic understanding of requirements development and system verification processes
  • Working knowledge of Systems Engineering Fundamentals
