Medical Geneticist - Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada

The PMGP has a provincial mandate and provides inpatient and outpatient clinical consultation services across the age continuum including prenatal, neonatal, pediatric and adult assessments. Newfoundland and Labrador is composed of founder populations with unique patterns of genetic disease, and adult patients often come from large, closely knit families providing an opportunity to develop unique models of clinical care. The successful applicant will also participate in the genetic and metabolic inpatient consultation service. The applicant will join a team of two other clinical geneticists and nine genetic counsellors.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical consultation services across the age continuum (prenatal, neonatal, pediatric and adult assessments).
• Participate in the genetic and metabolic inpatient consultation service.
• Collaborate with a team of two other clinical geneticists and nine genetic counsellors to deliver clinical care.
