Fabrication Planner/Detailer
We are currently looking for a driven individual to fill the role of Fabrication Planner / Detailer. The successful candidate will ideally have a background in Mechanical Engineering or possess equivalent experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to read blueprints are essential for this role. Additionally, a solid understanding of fabrication practices, industrial construction trades, welding procedures, and metallurgy is required.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills are also vital to excel in this position.

Primary Responsibilities :
Plan and design fabrication projects, procure materials, and ensure quality control.
Communicate effectively with team members and provide technical guidance.
Handle project documentation and support shop and field teams.
Address customer inquiries and provide advice on fabricated items.
Work independently, adhering to industry standards, and promote a culture of safety.
Requirements :
College Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or High School Diploma with equivalent experience. C of Q trades workers may be considered.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and blueprint reading.
Strong knowledge of fabrication practices, industrial construction trades, welding procedures, and metallurgy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage schedules, meet deadlines, and resolve problems.
