Position Title : Manager, Inside Sales

Company Name : CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures

Reports To : Director, Sales & Business Development

Location of Work : Banff, Alberta with remote travel expectations

Terms of Employment : Full-time, year-round

FLSA Status : Exempt

Number of Positions : 1

Direct Reports :

  • Manage all outbound sales efforts to engage new and existing clients.
  • Support and oversee process changes and automation in the sales function, including improvements to reservation platform.
  • Support escalations and challenging situations with guests and staff team members.
  • Consistently look for new opportunities for product to fulfill market demand.
  • Collaborate with the revenue management team on pricing and promotion strategies, as well as custom booking requests.
  • Collaborate with Global Sales Manager, Director of Sales & Business Development and Guest Services Manager on product, sales strategy, outbound efforts, and business growth to enhance the CMH product offering.
  • Oversee the use of Microsoft CE and LS Retail booking system and lead management to increase the effectiveness of the tools.
  • Management of workflow to ensure that the guest experience is optimized from start to finish.
  • Build and maintain effective professional relationships with key stakeholders within the business and ski / luxury tourism industry.
  • Communicate with supervisors, office personnel, and area management staff throughout CMH in a cooperative and effective manner.
  • Work with the senior leadership to build a culture that prioritizes all aspects of safety, the best possible experience for our employees and guests, recognizes our responsibility to the communities and mountain environment we are so privileged to operate in, and achieves leading financial results.
  • Help develop and implement strategic goals and objectives aligned with the overall CMH business strategy.
  • Develops and implements key performance objectives to meet business and guest expectations and optimize employee productivity in line with business growth.
  • Plans and participates in meetings with key leadership and project teams as and when necessary and provides necessary inputs for the timely completion of tasks.
  • Manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks, responsibilities, and goals; use goals to guide actions and create detailed action plans.
  • Help develop and support implementation of OHS, sustainability, and DEI initiatives.
  • Train, participate in and provide support, as required, during emergency response situations.
  • Support guests and employees in the field program during area visits, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with sales and guest service.
  • Experience selling in the ski, travel, or luxury tourism industries, preferred.
  • Experience with CRM programs and other associated sales software platforms, preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract.

  • Trustworthy, goal-oriented, respectful, and self-directed in completing the core functions of the role.
  • Confidence to interact with all levels of the company in a hub-and-spoke model in which many individuals are remote.
  • Confident with public speaking and the facilitation of training sessions and workshops.
  • Strong sense of work ethic and accountability, with an ability to function well in a team environment and focus on team success.
  • A willingness to learn and develop skills with on-the-job management training.

Working Conditions

  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position up to 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a regular basis.
  • This position requires you to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the business.
  • This position will require frequent travel to CMH areas, as well as other business-related travel.

Compensation

A competitive compensation package will be provided including an attractive base salary which is based upon qualifications, experience, and skill set, as well as an annual incentive program.
