Coordinate Cross-functional Engineering Teams Manufacturing Innovation
Manage Development Stage Gate Product Roadmap
Enhance Strategic Vision Product Team Capacity
Adamson products are globally acclaimed; you will find us around the world with top artists in prestigious venues. Our newest product offering has received an outstanding response;
the first deployment will be for a world-renowned entertainment conglomerate in Paris, this fall.
- Our product is developed by multi-disciplinary engineering teams; multi-level software from firmware through to GUI, full Ethernet stack;
- immersive audio software including interface & control (European division); power electronics, SMPS & Class D; high speed circuit design & network components;
- mechanical design & simulation, rapid prototyping FEM / BEM; acoustical design for transducers, waveguides, extending to room design;
structural engineering, rigging & lifting systems.
To visualize what we do, imagine a performance in a large room, opera, jazz, hip hop, your choice. An Adamson system will reveal several large touch screens defining and controlling Ethernet streaming of the high-definition performance you are hearing.
The optimized array is realized by hundreds of processors computing the solution through discretely controlled channels while tens of thousands of watts power a unique signal to each speaker in that array.
This is happening in real time.
Adamson’s product is complex, by any measure. Our proprietary Ethernet stack streaming on bare metal in our DSP endpoint manages redundant streams delivered to Class D power driven by our Switched Mode Power Supplies.
This energizes a loudspeaker system designed and manufactured by Adamson .
Magnets, drivers, waveguides, phase plugs, sound chambers, enclosures, and rigging hardware in the loudspeaker manufacturing process we are vertically integrated throughout.
Tier-one CNC machine tools along with five-axis mold making combine to deliver results in metals and composites.
This integration is also prevalent in electronics under one roof we have SMT placement, selective soldering, laser / metal fabrication, powder coating, firmware, and software, all in the service of producing industrial grade electronic assemblies.
In response to demand we are simultaneously expanding our facility to 100,000 square feet; adding capital equipment in the form of a new SMT line and flying probe inspection;
and increasing personnel accordingly.
Surrounded by green space next to a lake in Port Perry Ontario, we have good highway access to the GTA. Commuting here is considered to be low stress.
The Digital Hardware Manager will lead and coordinate the engineering teams that develop our electronics products and prepare them for manufacturing.
They will liaise with other department heads and senior management to ensure product development schedules are met, manufacturing processes and resources are in place, propose remedies to constraints, and assist in implementing new operating procedures.
