Millwright

Our client located near Windsor, Ontario has an immediate opening for a Millwright.

Pay Rate: $30-36/hr based on relevant experience, Overtime paid after 40 hours.

Shift: Day & Afternoon rotation.

Responsibilities

1. Performs duties of millwright as required including pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems and tools.
2. Provides assistance to other maintenance personnel with troubleshooting electrical or other maintenance-related needs as required.
3. Responsible for completion of necessary paperwork including work orders, time sheets, log board entries, and line book revisions as required in a timely manner.
4. Ordering parts and following the parts received procedure.
5. Performing routine preventive maintenance as required.
6. Responsible for maintaining a clean, tidy, and organized work area.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 5 years work experience as a Licensed millwright or Industrial Mechanic.
2. Extensive experience with Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and mechanical systems and tools.
3. PLC Programming and troubleshooting an asset.
4. Electrical troubleshooting capabilities required.
5. Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment.
6. Ability to read, write, and speak English.
